The Butterstamp Workshop is located at 55 Middle St., Wiscasset, Maine.   We began as a shop that featured our manufactured products, i.e., our buttermold designs in a variety of decorative and functional forms and our beeswax ornaments.  While we offer only our own products for sale on this web site, we have branched out to offer other reproduction folk art in our retail store.  Much of it is made in the USA.  In our shop you can purchase a variety of primitive prints, samplers and scherensnitte and various kinds of candle products including "mini" honeypot luminaries made by Bee Natural.  One of our interests is early American gravestone folk art and we feature a line of reproduction pieces done as wall plaques in clay.  Our quaint courtyard is the perfect setting for a line of gourd birdhouses, Jingle Birds, copper wind spinners and more.  And each year we are on the lookout for other unique products.  We invite you to visit our shop when you come to mid-coast Maine for vacation.  Wiscasset is located on coastal Route 1 about a half an hour north of Freeport (L.L. Bean country) and on the way to Boothbay Harbor, a very popular tourist area.  We are open seasonally from Memorial Day weekend through mid-October, seven days a week from 10 to 5.
